APCA MEMBERSHIP
As a brand new advocacy and support organisation that has grown out of the World Crafts Council - Asia Pacific Region structure, we are offering complimentary membership to APCA for all new and existing WCC-APR members till the end of 2025. Click here to confirm your agreement to accept this offer.

Membership Benefits
All members of APCA are eligible to receive benefits of membership, including promotion, professional opportunities, and access to a wide network of artisans and creatives. Some membership levels hold the right to vote at General Assemblies. Read through the specific breakdowns below.
Ordinary Members
National, Municipal, Regional and Professional Entities
Has full voting rights (4 votes per organisation)
Profile page on website; feature page once a year about projects
Promotion of projects on Instagram and social media

Individual Members
Artisans, artists, academics, researchers, arts workers, curators etc.
Has partial voting rights (1 vote per individual)

Membership Levels
National Entity (USD$250 per year) - A national representative organisation with a mandate to deliver initiatives and policies to support, stimulate and develop the sector. Is in receipt of public funding and has a strategy for national development. Has full voting rights.
Municipal Regional/Provincial Entity (USD$250 per year) - Has a mandate to deliver initiatives and policies within the territory of a country to support, stimulate and develop the sector. Is in receipt of public funding via municipalities, local or regional governments and has a strategy for regional development. Has full voting rights.
Professional Entity (USD$250 per year) - Has a national or regional remit and includes guilds, associations etc. Is a membership based professional organisation representative of specific craft discipline(s). Has full voting rights.
Individual (USD$50 per year) - For artisans, artists, researchers, academics, arts workers, supporters and stakeholders within the ecosystem of crafts. Members agree to abide by the principles and objectives of the Alliance and are able to vote at General Assemblies.
NOTE TO VOTING RIGHTS:
At a General meeting, Ordinary members with full voting rights are entitled to four (4) votes per organisation, while individual members are entitled to one (1) vote. Associate and Honorary members are non-voting.
Associate (By Invitation Only) - Associates are supporters and/or champions of the Asia Pacific Crafts Alliance and include sponsors, foundations and corporate organisations. As an Affiliate your brand will be aligned with the values and work of APCA
Honorary (By Invitation Only) - Any person whose exemplary contributions relating to the objectives of the organisation may be honoured with an Individual Honorary Membership.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Membership to APCA is available to individuals and organisations who meet the eligibility requirements and agree to abide by the rules and guidelines set forth by the association. By applying for membership you agree to the following terms:
Application & Approval
National Entity, Municipal Regional/Provincial Entity and Professional Entity membership applications are subject to review before approval by APCA. We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our discretion. Incomplete or inaccurate applications may result in delayed processing or denial of membership.The admission of all new memberships to APCA shall be pursuant to the decision of the Asia Pacific Executive Board and notified at the next Asia Pacific Craft Alliance General Assembly. Once the application has been approved the applicant will be issued with an invoice for the membership fee. Only when payment received is the application finalised/complete.
Fees
Membership fees are assessed annually and vary based on the level of membership. The fee structure will be communicated publicly on the APCA website as well as at the time of application or renewal. Fees are non-refundable, except in cases of error or extraordinary circumstances, as determined by APCA.Renewal
All membership levels are valid for one calendar year, and membership renewals are due from the 1st of January each following year. Members will be notified via email or other communication methods prior to the renewal date.Suspension/Limitation/Termination
Any member (group or individual) who is found to be in violation of its obligations, (including the non-payment of its annual fee for a period of two (2) years, violation of the Code of Conduct, or other actions deemed harmful to the integrity of the association), may have the rights and privileges of membership suspended or limited by the Executive Board until such time as the matter has been resolved by the Asia Pacific Crafts Alliance General Assembly.Any Membership of APCA may be cancelled by the APCA General Assembly, provided, however, that at least one-third (1/3) of the members (with voting rights) present at the meeting shall agree.
Members may choose to cancel their subscription at any time, but no refund of fees will be provided.
Transferability
Memberships are non-transferable. Only the individual or organisation named in the application will be entitled to the benefits associated with the membership.Privacy & Data Protection
By becoming a member, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. APCA will use this data solely for the purposes of membership management, communication, and member-related activities. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.Changes To Terms
APCA reserves the right to modify or update these benefits, fees, eligibility criteria, and terms at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes via email or through official communication channels. Continued participation in the association following such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
