      Sarawak WEFT Forum 2025
World Eco-Fiber & Textile (WEFT) Forum was first started in September 1999 in Kuching, and since then it has been a biennial event.
This forum strives to promote, share and acquire knowledge of natural fibers and dyes, to encourage and coordinate research and studies into traditional fiber crafts, and to create networks and foster cultural exchange.
The rich schedule at this year’s WEFT Forum includes an international exhibition & bazaar, forums and workshops, as well as a gala dinner and fashion show. There are additional tours to weaving and craft centers and places of interest in Kuching and Sarawak with limited places available.
The 3-day Forum will have 30 internationally renowned scholars, community leaders and designers of Textiles and Natural Fibers share their latest research information and knowledge on the tradition and the contemporary and innovative designs over the 3 mornings
The 3 afternoons will have break-out workshop sessions with the Sarawak Cultural Communities/Associations.

      Kogei Art Fair in Kanazawa
KOGEI Art Fair Kanazawa is the only art fair specialising in crafts in Japan that transmits the new aesthetic sense and values of crafts to the world. A total of forty galleries will be gathered, and works of artists active in the world from up-and-coming young people will be exhibited and sold.

      World Ikat Textiles Symposium
The World Ikat Textiles Symposium (WITS) is scheduled for the 3rd - 5th December this year.
Held at the Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre in Thailand, the theme for this event is ‘Threads of Tomorrow: Weaving Technologies Heritage into Sustainable Futures’.

      IAC CONGRESS Ceramics - Jingdezhen 2026
Hosted by Jingdezhen Ceramic University and the Jingdezhen Municipal Government, the 2026 IAC Congress will explore the city’s rich ecosystem of ceramic education, digital innovation, and international cultural exchange. From the recently opened Yuan Dynasty Blue & White Museum and Research Centre to the ‘Ceramic Road’ International Ceramic Education Alliance, Jingdezhen is actively shaping the future of ceramic arts and technology.
This event will be an opportunity for the international ceramics community to experience the spirit of Jingdezhen - a living museum of ceramic excellence and a beacon for global dialogue in the ceramic arts.
