2025 Special Glass Exhibition - Glass: Poetry, Time, Place

“Glass: Poetry, Time, Place strives to listen closely to the stories that glass whispers to us within our current milieu.”

This exhibition seeks to capture glass in its various forms throughout the currents of time together with the ways in which it shimmers within this space. Like a vitreous poem, it exists as a translucent and beautiful moment.

Installed in the Culture Factory Main Building, following the hugely successful Cheongju Craft Biennale and the designation of Cheongju as a UNESCO City of Crafts and Folk Arts. This exhibition celebrates both Korean and international glass artists and their outstanding work within this medium.

Featuring artists:

  • Kim Kira, Kim Junyong, Kim Hunchul, Layla Walter, Mike Crawford, Mark Lepilleur, Sunwoo Yong, Annaliisa Alastalo, Um Joowon, Andy Paiko, Jung Junghoon, Gil Sungsik, Kim Dongwan, Kim Yoonhui, Dito140, Park Youngho, Park Jiemin, Seo Sunguk, Seo Jihye, Song Inbeom, Shin Jisu, Lee Kihoon, Lee Dongho, Lee Unhee, Lee Jieun, Lee Heejoo, Choi Sangjun, Han Yoonha
