PROGRAMS & AWARDS
APCA is carefully considering the best programs that will return benefits and opportunities for our members. Among these are the Asia Pacific Alliance Craft Masters Award and the development of an online database of members skills and capabilities. Our advocacy work is focussed on opportunity developments coupled with economic and environmental awareness.
Asia Pacific Alliance Craft Master’s Awards
The first Craft Masters Award was held in 2008 (Hangzhou) and then in 2012 (Suzhou), 2016 (Nanjing). In 2023, 60 craft master finalists had their work assessed by a skilled jury in Dongyang, China.
In 2027, the Craft Masters Awards for the Asia Pacific Region will be held again, this time presented as the ‘Asia Pacific Alliance Craft Masters Awards 2027’.
Calls for applications - Calls will go out in early 2026 with regional committees managing and assisting the nomination processes. Information will be shared with our members as the program rolls out.
