In honour of Panjakent’s official recognition as a World Craft City, the city will host the first International Folk Art Festival “Panjakent Suzani.”
The festival program includes a large-scale suzani textile exhibition, showcases by local and international artisans, an awards ceremony, a scientific conference, and a press conference. The event will also feature a meeting between artisans and representatives of IFAM Santa Fe, as well as the signing of cooperation memorandums.
