ASEAN Crafts 2027 aims to bring together artisans, craft entrepreneurs, designers, cultural practitioners and organisations from ASEAN and the wider Asia-Pacific region to celebrate craftsmanship, encourage cultural exchange, and strengthen creative entrepreneurship and regional collaboration.
The theme for 2027 is “Reimagining Craftpreneurship”. Rethinking, transforming, and innovating - looking at something familiar in a new, modern way. It encourages creativity, modernisation, and adaptation to new markets, technology, or digital platforms.
Through exhibitions, forums, awards, and collaborative programs, ASEAN Crafts fosters dialogue, appreciation, and professional exchange within the region and beyond. The program acts as a bridge between tradition and innovation, empowering communities while enhancing regional solidarity through arts, crafts, and culture-based industries.
