Applications close 31st August 2026
The Forrest Research Foundation is offering two prestigious two-year Creative Fellowships commencing in 2027 to outstanding creative/performing arts practitioners with a research component to their practice.
The Creative Fellowships are open to candidates from all countries and all creative disciplines and are intended to accelerate opportunities for outstanding researchers and creative practitioners. These awards seek to harness the imaginative, creative, embodied and practical skills of creative/performing arts practitioners in order to generate high impact outcomes and research initiatives that will result in social, cultural and health benefits to the wider community.
These generous fellowships provide an academic salary and accommodation at Forrest Hall, Western Australia, in a luxury self-contained apartment, with a total value of over AU$300,000. Within Forrest Hall, Creative Fellows will live amongst other researchers in a vibrant and inspiring environment. The Foundation also offers a unique ‘researcher’s journey’ program that exposes our Creative Fellows to world leading researchers, mentoring, connections with Australia’s creative industries and more.
