In September 2026, Homo Faber will return to Venice for its 4th edition of Homo Faber Biennial, a

celebration of contemporary craftsmanship. Es Devlin, the celebrated artist and designer, has been announced as the Artistic Director for the 2026 edition.

They are now seeking exceptional contemporary objects from across the world, both functional and decorative. The artisans must be living and actively working, and the objects must not have been exhibited previously in Venice or at any other major craft event in Europe.
