Official Launch of the Eurasian Council for Craft & Design

On 25th March, the official presentation of the Eurasian Council for Craft & Design (ECCD) took place in the centre of Amsterdam.
The event brought together members of the international diplomatic and professional community. Among the distinguished guests were the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Cultural Attaché of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Municipality of Amsterdam, the President of the Association of Kazakhstani Citizens in France, as well as representatives of the Dutch creative industry.
ECCD, registered in The Hague, positions itself as a new institutional platform uniting craft, design, and the creative industries across Eurasia.
The presentation marked not only the official launch of the organisation, but also the beginning of a new model of collaboration — one in which tradition is no longer seen as the past, but as a resource for contemporary design and international cooperation.
