World Ikat Textile Symposium (WITS) 2025
3rd - 5th December 2025 | Khon Kaen, Thailand
A glorious three days of shared experience and knowledge, meeting old friends and making new ones against the backdrop of Khon Kaen’s justly famous reputation for Ikat. Weavers and academics from the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and India joined local designers to show their fashion skills. A highlight was the visit to the new Mudmee Silk Museum developed by Master Weaver Suramontri Srisomboon whose collection of glorious ikat and whose generosity as a host made this a morning to be remembered.
